Living between the Pennines and the dramatic Yorkshire coastline has influenced my approach to photography. I typically look for atmospheric scenes only found at certain times of day. When light interacts with landscape to produce a unique atmosphere.

Unless I am in the studio this tends to be almost exclusively at dawn or dusk in what photographers term "the golden hour".

My photographic interests cover the full geographic range of scenery available in the Yorkshire region. Encompassing the upland moorland wilderness of the pennines, low lying woodland ravines with fast flowing rivers and the rolling countryside leading into the rugged Yorkshire coast.

When not roaming the length and breadth of Yorkshire I am just as at home in the studio shooting flora and fauna.
