Clive Nichols is one of the world's foremost garden photographers. His unique, striking images have brought world-wide critical acclaim and many awards. He has won four awards from the Garden Writers Guild for his flower and garden images and his first book, Photographing Plants & Gardens, which was published in association with the Royal Horticultural Society, quickly established itself as the standard work on the subject and was voted Specialist Garden Book of the Year in 1995. Clive has illustrated many other books including The Tranquil Garden, Herb Garden Design, Leaf, Bark & Berry, Colour By Design, Planting Companions, The Summer Garden,The Winter Garden and most recently The Art of Flower & Garden Photography. Colour By Design has been described by BBC Good Homes magazine as the Garden book of the decade'.

In addition to his book work, Clive's pictures are extensively published in magazines and calendars throughout the world. Clive's work and garden have been featured several times on BBC Gardener's World and he has appeared on Japanese national television. Clive runs many successful seminars on garden photography for The Royal Horticultural Society and The English Gardening School
